Hacking Sky3ds and Gateway Save Compatibility?

Hello,
Ive got a quick question. If i was to purchase a sky3ds to play roms now, as i wait for GW to update to 9.x. Would i be able to transfer my save data from one card to the other or are they slightly different formats.

I read somewhere that you can't get the saves off of the Sky3DS so the answer is no, but I'm not sure if it's true and I can't post the source.

If someone can confirm or deny?

Ok, so the save data from the sky and GW can both be extracted. Will they be compatible with eachother. Or are we unsure.

Not at this time, both use different save methods.
