hey guys i bought some HESH Viking Illustration skullcandy headphones about 8 months ago and they snapped....of course.
i live in Australia and have been trying to return the headphones through the skullcandy site. but they only allow returns from America and Europe. Even the australian sites return form redirects you to the european site and only has european countrys [IMG] can someone help me plzzz :S
-----> these are the ones i have http://eu.skullcandy.com/shop/hesh-black-white.html

The only help I can give you, is to do some research before you buy anything...including anything from Skullcandy. The only headphones I can really recommend from them is the Ink'd, but even Jbud J2's out-perform them.

Skullcandy headphones are wonderful little things. But they always, always break for me. It stopped being worth the investment after the third pair, really. [IMG]

So yes, do research, lest you buy from another overly-fragile brand.

yeh i didnt research them unfortunately. it was kind of an impulsive buy i saw them and was like...hmm....i want them *buys*
so not uch research was put in haha. The skullcandy site is so dodgy, on the australian site, when you click on a headphone to see the details it comes back with 404 error :S

BTW i tend to buy things that look better over their performance, its not a good habit but i cant see to break it thats why id pick Over Ear skullcandys over generic in ear headphones :/.

That happened to me...it was seriously annoying...yeah, they look awesome, but break seriously quick.

If you need new headphones, and money is an issue, I would recommend the Sony MDR-XD200's for home use, they're usually available for less than $30, and the sound quality is way outta their price range. If you need something more mobile, the MDR-XD300's are pretty good, not as nice sounding though, or if price isn't an issue, then I'd go for the MDR-XB700's.

Monster Beats? Why the hell would you buy ANYTHING from Monster?

Anyway, I have a pair of Sennheiser HD202's and they sound better than headphones I paid $150 for. They don't look all that fancy, but they are very sturdy, and they sound awesome. Not to mention you can probably get them for $16+ Shipping. There are only 2 downfalls with that model though.

    1. The cord is ZOMFG long, but it comes with it's own cord manager.

    2. They tend to get kind of hot after wearing them a while.
