Homebrew Skins for Moonshell 2/YSmenu Combo

That'll add a lot of confusion. Since people have been thinking that those are skins (weird) no one will go there. Best to make a separate thread to avoid confusion.

Very good idea(s) - but I agree there should be 2 threads - 'Moonshell 2 Wallpaper request' and 'Moonshell 2 Skins ('skn' files) request' - the only thing is have a warning/links in first post of each pointing to the other thread

Something like
'These files are only for the wallpaper (or background) of Moonshell 2, compatible with all versions of Moonshell 2 - if you want a full makeover go to .....'
and
'These files give Moonshell 2 a complete makeover, changing icons, backgrounds etc.
These are only compatible with 'Moonshell 2 Stable' (unless otherwise stated) - for JUST the Wallpapers (or backgorund) pictures go to......'

Both should be made Sticky - & ideally (if possible) put together on the Forums index so people see both of them & decide which is best for what they want

It looks good - but there's just a couple of points to mention (possibly bugs):
My 'Screensaver' doesn't look like yours - there's no 'Time & Date' blue oval on it & on the calender & the month is either seems semi transparent or lighter than in your screenshot (the weekend background colours are fainter & on the weekdays the background is the same colour as the text (white on white)

As for personnal preferences:
I think I'd prefer that on the options screen ('Open memo list etc') I think I would actually like a 'box' around it either a larger version of the mp3/image/movie icon 'cube' or perhaps like the top screen

Here's a couple of mockups to hopefully explain what I mean (isn't it amazing what you can do with copy/paste !)

(I can't decide which I like best)

It is also a bit of a shame (but there's nothing you can do about it) that we can't move Moonshell Time/Date over so that it doesn't overlap the top screen border.
Other than that - Congrates on a job well done

That way, skins will get done much faster. As in multiple people working on skins? It'll take only a few hours to make!

Erm... I don't think so - 'cos that's NOT on an AK2i flashcard.

My combo is DSi + DSTTi + 8GB Sandisk + Moonshell 2.02 stable (+ YSmenu with official DSTT 1.17 firmware)
Maybe it's a difference between the versions of Moonshell (2.01/2.02 etc)

So what's your Combo - janouis ?? maybe we can find a difference that might explain it

Hmm - so there's a couple of possibilities then 'DS Lite/DSi' and 'DSTT/DSTTi' - I can't see having a larger SD card or a Slot2 would make any difference & we're using the same Moonshell/YSmenu & Firmware.

When I get home I'll try the DSTTi in a DSLite & see what happens.
