o have a old nokea phone. not sure of the model but anyways. i was trying to set a password for my phone so no one uses it. it started asking me for a something code that was 8 digets long. i kept writing random numbers and now it says sim card rejected. HELP PLEASE

If I'm correct you were locked out due to answering the password wrong too many times. Try searching something to that effect.

I dont really no if i can help

I flash my nokia n8 with phoenix software and you can get the lastest firmware for your phone off navfirm.

have you tried putting your sim card in another phone?

You could try *#7370# to wipe your phone, but i have no idea if the pin will be removed so use with caution.

what model is it?

type *#0000# on the keypad for model type.

Was it asking you for a puk code?

If it was asking for the puk code & you tried more than 4 times then your sim card is toast . To make sure if it was the puk code or no try the sim in another phone & see if it works . If nothing then you will have to call your carrier & tell you tried the puk code too many time and see what they will say.
