a9lh and freeShop are completely legal. You can use them for illegal purposes, but that's the letter of the law. boot9 is copyrighted and sharing that would be a copyright violation.

whatever device that is just has the good stuff in a separate spi flash chip. what people are going after here is the tiny rom in the cpu that apparently holds some interesting things. so not really similar at all.

yeah, the wifi uses spi flash. not applicable to sighax though. dumping the wifi flash doesnt really get you the bootroms. if it did, that can be dumped from ds mode, and we would have had bootroms on day 1

Trust me, you don't know better than the person that's doing the majority of the work for this...........if it was as easy as replicating existing methods, this would have been done LONG ago.

I read somewhere spi flash bypasses encryption well console specific anyway. Providing 3.3v would power the chip without turning on the console. Same for nand risk of frying though

Nothing, aparantly people are scared to release a dumped bootrom so I am trying to figure out if I can do it on my own. I personally wouldn't give a fuck lol I could have someone in chine Russia or india make it public. Melanin helps.

I could've sworn Hedgeberg has said in multiple streams she would publicly release it. Unless she changed her mind. Or I was really baked. Either is completely possible.

I don't know, the DSi Common key is still floating around. But wouldn't that be an almost impossible fight for them to win? Because by the time the legal battle is over, plenty of people will have it and it would be distributed even more.
