@PlailectFor those have 3Dsafe installed, here is the solution : How to remove 3Dsafe to install B9S
Some are the tool for recovery, or changing settings. The other is to dump your Boot loader and OTPso in @Plailect 's guide, at the bottom of the page it says this:
You can now hold (Select) on boot to launch the Luma3DS configuration menu.
You can now hold (Start) on boot to launch the Luma3DS chainloader menu (note that the Luma3DS chainloader menu is only displayed if there is more than one payload detected). You can now hold (Start) + (Select) + (X) on boot to dump the ARM11 bootrom (boot11.bin), the ARM9 bootrom (boot9.bin), and your console unique OTP (OTP.bin) to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card (note that this will not have any kind of prompt or message).
what are these files for? I guess recovery from a brick, but are there any other uses?
I'm guessing the a9lh folder can be deleted as well? Just asking to be sure. You can delete this folder. It is just the temporary directory for Decrypt9
i dont even think it was needed with a9lh... Mine worked fine without it.I'm guessing the a9lh folder can be deleted as well? Just asking to be sure.
yep. same as the boot9strap folder if u have itI'm guessing the a9lh folder can be deleted as well? Just asking to be sure.
So did AL9H, don't worry.i do kinda feel like writing to the firm partition for every updat of this (if there are updates in the future?) is a little concerning.
Thats why Boot9Strap is the standard.i do kinda feel like writing to the firm partition for every updat of this (if there are updates in the future?) is a little concerning.
They're talking about derreks Sighax which installs the firm(Luma) onto the NANDSo did AL9H, don't worry.
Ah I see, yeah I think I rather trust the opensource alternative. They're talking about derreks Sighax which installs the firm(Luma) onto the NAND
atm? no, not really. but it does open plenty of doors. maybe we'll finally get that damn 12 hour clock. So are there any actual things we can do with sighax other than update luma?
It's day 2, things will come.So are there any actual things we can do with sighax other than update luma?
Derrek's is also in beta so installing it without a hard mod is a really dumb idea.Ah I see, yeah I think I rather trust the opensource alternative.
Argh the wait, it's too much! It's day 2, things will come.
