You can't join Anonymous. It's not like they have a weekly book club that you just walk into and sign up for. To even call them an "organization" is giving them too much credit.

They're just a disorganized bunch of yahoos with too much time on their hands. They have the ability to cause real change but instead are just complete dicks. Like when they "prank" people by sending all these pizzas to them. First off, that sounds awesome. Second off, why not spend all that money on donating to a charity or sending food to a homeless shelter? It's sickening that they'd rather tackle the non-issues of the world before acknowledging their ability to cause change in the real issues in the world. There's poverty and disaster everywhere but Sony are meanies, let's send Jack Tretton pizzas!

Also, to have a friend whose in Anonymous ask you to join Anonymous completely defeats the purpose of Anonymous. It's like when you go to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, you don't walk in and say your name, where you live, and entire life history. It's called ANONYMOUS for a reason. Members are supposed to be unknown. Just like the Illuminati except more douchey.
