Hacking Should i hack my wii u?

Hi i have this wii u that i have been playing for a while and i been thinking should get my wii u hacked because i need to know if i get my wii u hacked will i get my nintendo network id banned?

If you want homebrew and p*racy access, there's no reason not to. Online services for the Wii U is slowly dying. They're slowly killing it starting with Miiverse.
Not sure if how active the community though - SSB, MK8, Splatoon, etc. I'm sure they will transition to the Switch or they have already.
I haven't been banned playing on any online games MK8, Splatoon, and SSB but I'm pretty sure you will get ban if you cheat on these games.

Yup, but if you play normally online with a hacked console, you'll be fine. I've done it and never got banned.

If you hack it you can play pirated games, dlc, install emulators, make save backups etc.

There is no downside.

Final Question When i install Haxchi on the home menu will it show up in my friend list or will i go offline? Because if it shows up in my friend list i feel like nintendo will find out like the when the 3ds ban wave came out

I'm not completely sure about this - but I think if anything it would show up as brainage/whatever ds game you used

bottom line is this has been done many times and never resulted in a ban.
