PS1/2 Should I get FF X or FF X-2?

I like FF VIII the best. I loved the GF system and the magic system. I thought it was the most unique game play experience out of any FF game. I have played them all, still havent beaten XII yet, but it doesnt interest me much because of the wierd battle system/gambit system.

Out of FFX or FFXII, I would go with X, it was great. The level up system was a neat idea, just a little harder to implement.

XII is political intrigue...from 7 on to 10, they went the love story route. XII gives the feel of IV and VI, which I liked. The only thing that bugged me about XII is that the character you start with is the typical effeminate guy. The other characters were well designed though i.e. Basch and Balthier.

Couldn't get through FFX.
