Hacking Should I format my wii's memory before installing HBC?

I bought a used wii with some stuff on it. When I looked in the channel data, it showed a "???" channel that took up 10 blocks.

I searched online about but I couldn't find anything on it and I don't know if I should delete in case its an important file. Would it be a good idea to format the memory or should it be fine the way it is?

I wouldn't delete anything, you can use the system format if you like but it will just clean the wad games that are on it and save games. HBC can be installed no problem from where you are now though, but if you format after HBC install then you'll lose that.
