Gaming Shiney Pokemon...

I know you can use AR codes or Pokesav to get them, but why does Nintendo bother making the grapic for the Shiny Legendary Pokemon? You can't catch them in the wild so its impossible without cheating to catch one right?

Yeah, I've been playing Ruby and Emerald as well (played almost every version of the Pokémon game). Played Emerald for a year and still have not encountered any Shinies. Caught a lot of Pokémon too.

Yup, and the chances do not increase, meaning that even if you encounter 8,192 wild pokemon you're not guaranteed to get a shiny one.
