and some dont work even aftre being save patched.
No need to patch most games... Some people (mainly Aurora, d0k3, and TuxSH) figured out agbfirm supports more save types than formerly believed to (including 1 megabit flash) :)

First thanks guys for your replies and advice.

It is a Limited Pink Edition and I got the unit as New from an Amazon seller maybe about 7 or 8 years ago? I can't remember. I was disappointed that it was not factory sealed but it was was fully boxed with all instructions etc. and looked as it had never been taken out of the box. In all that time I have only taken it out of the box once for about ten minutes to test one game. I would therefore say it is NIB but unsealed.

AGS-001 unit unfortunately:sad:

I don't think it will be worth very much because of these reasons?

I think I will keep it for now.

I do however have a factory sealed Nintendo ds lite Professor Layton and the Curious Village bundle :)

At the time it looked like a smart move, but I regret selling every one of my handhelds.
If I could rewind time, slapping myself in the face for that would be one of the things on the list.

TLDR Don't

I ebayed my sp 001 as soon as I picked up a dual ips n3ds. You can’t take these possessions with you to the afterlife so why cling to them forever?

Have something to play the games on and if something better comes along that can play from gameboy up to the newest software ditch the old and migrate to the new. I like having everything on one system and also I find the bigger screen is easier on my eyes, however, playing on retroarch with fancy shaders is also a great experience.
Because I want to. Until I am dead, I will have those things. I am not dead. Therefore, I will have them. If I can't use my possessions after I am dead, I might as well sell everything I own and just reflect on the pointlessness of life /s

Do you need money ASAP and never bothered to collect any gaming hardware? Sell it.
If you don't need money for now, and are kinda interested in collecting hardware then leave it. You'll have an emergency gaming device AND if properly packed and maintained it will get only more valuable.
