I have tried several SD Cards and none of them work

The Wii Says "The Device Inserted cannot be used"

I Have tried formatting and it doesnt works.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

Or any solution?

Would an USB SD Reader work?

Settings?
It's self-explanatory.

FORMAT TYPE - QUICK OR FULL (ERASE OFF)
FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - OFF

What SD Card are you using?

Didnt work, I have tried an

128 MB FujiFilm SD

4 GB Sandisk SD

1 GB Micro SD with Adapter

512 MB Sandisk SD

and none of them have worked

but I tried all of them on my friend´s Wii and all of them worked.

And I also formatted as you said and it dindnt work.

Might be a problem with your Wii's SD Card reader.

I can't fathom why it wouldn't work unless it's a problem with the Wii.
...
....
which would suck since you would need to get it repaired.
...
When did this problem start?

Back on mid july 2007, my first week with my Wii. My cousin tried his SD Card on my Wii, and it worked. Then, I got myself an SD Card, I tried it and didnt work, since then it hasnt worked.

And, By the way thanks fudgenuts 64, and soulsnatcher for helping so much.

I'm guessing something wrong with the contact area on your Wii's SD reader. Likely when your cousin tried his SD card, it either bend the contact or "dirty" the contact.

I've had bits of SD card break off inside the slot. The plastic separating the contacts is very brittle and easily broken.

MODS: can somebody change my flag to UK please......
