Hacking selective dldi auto patching

Hey I'm playing final fantasy crystal Chronicals on my firelink card. the game runs fine as long as I have dldi auto patching set = 0

But I can't load my homebrew (like moonshell) without dldi auto patching set = 1.

the problem is that I can only change this setting from my PC using a text editor.

Is there any way to set my card to selectively auto patch? or to block it from patching only that rom?

any help would be great!

Update to the latest Xmenu; that problem was fixed ages ago.
