Homebrew Sega Game Gear on a DS?

So, since we've mentioned every other pre-DS console here, be it hand-held or not, I think it would be only fair to ask this one too:



Is it possible to run Sega Game Gear ROMs on a DS? Since the DS is like 15 years less old and supposedly more powerful. Do you think they'll ever make a Game Gear emulator?

There's a Master System/Game gear emulator for the GBA that works pretty darn well. But I can't remember anything about one being made for the DS...

(Yeah, one would think a 3.5 MHz processor with 24KB RAM and 160*144 screen would get an emulator by now...)

SMSAdvance is probably the better of the two but do not be quick to discout DRsms.

If you have hung around DS emulation chances are you heard of Alekmaul, enough said. GBA code may still just edge out this but not by much.
