Hello all,

Apologies for my ignorance on this, but can anyone confirm to me whether an SEA region Switch faces the same limitation on which control channels can be used for 5GHz Wi-Fi as Japanese consoles — namely that, as I understand it, a channel less than 149 needs to be used for the Japanese variants?

Seems like it. Got an japanese OLED switch (XTJ7), changed my 5g wifi from channel 36 to 153 and it disappeared on the switch:

Probably not a big deal unless your wifi router doesn't let you choose channel manually

That tracks with what I have heard for Japanese consoles due to Japan restricting channel use. Wondering if the same is true for SEA consoles. Don’t see why it would be unless SEA consoles have the same PRODINFO setting, but wanted to try to verify if anyone has an SEA region Switch!
