my supercard SD is telling me I have an error with my sdram. how do I fix it

hmm... random guess... have you tried reformatting the card? or using a different card? Also do you have the newest firmware?

done all but update. I cannot acess the menu as it "cannot find sd"

An SDRAM error is a hardware error. With the SDRAM screwed up, the Supercard is mostly useless, as that's where it launches files from.

I don't know of any way to fix it, unfortunately.

Put some paper between the IC and the plastic cover, then try closing it up, I heard it works sometimes.

noobish question but, which bit is the ic?

The various chips on the back, just put some long enough sheets of paper just to create some resistance against the cover, then close it up
