So I tried dumping a game cart to a cia file in GM9 and then installing it. All is well untill about 40% installed, then FBI reports an error something along the lines of Bus/TWL partition error (I'm not that great with the specific workings of what happened). So I go back to GM9 and try deleting the does cia file, but it fails to delete and kicks me back to the drive selector, and now it says "invalid directory object". I can't even make directories or dummy files without it completely breaking. I can use the OS for a few seconds before it says "could not detect an SD card." This SD card has been functioning normally for a while now, maybe 4 to 6 months.

tl;dr after a failed cia game cart install with FBI, the SD card can be read but not written to. I can't access any apps installed on the SD card on the main OS.

I have an o3ds running 11.9 with Luma, GM9 and B9S (all latest versions).

For extra intelligent people: can you explain exactly what went wrong in the install process?

Update: the SD card cannot be read by a computer, probably because it makes some kind of write request before it initializes.

Do you have format it correctly? Fat32 with 32k cluster size? And Your SD card should be mbr formatted, not gpt. And check your sd card with h2testw for errors on it.
