Homebrew SD Card corrupted BEFORE I finished

So I was following the guide on 3ds.guide and was onto the final page. The FINAL page and as I was copying the contents of "starter.zip" to my SD, it stopped became corrupted. At this point I am unsure of how to proceed due to fear of bricking. I am prompted to reformat my SD Card after being told the directory name is invalid. Also before anyone accuses me of skipping a step or not reading I will let you know I did neither. I read the entire page before I even began to do any of the steps and I double checked to make sure I'm not skipping anything. If anyone knows how I should approach the issue please help.

Good news: The guide is structures such that all the files and steps needed to complete each page are present in every page (even if repeated), so you can start from this last page.

Bad news: If you did not backup your SD to your computer before this, you just lost the backup to your system which means all your saves/content and worse the only thing that can recover the console if anything goes wrong during install.

Double check and see if you can at least get the sd:/files9/NANDmin.bin and .sha file and copy them to your computer.

Unfortunately since you are on 2.1, you have no other choice but to get another sd card and complete the last page of guide, except the section where you restore system you may need to follow this: https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer.html if you can't rescue that NANDmin.bin

The guide does warn you to check the integrity of the sd card at the beginning so you must have skipped this part. Oh well, finish the guide now and if you get stuck anywhere post a question before trying anything.

I actually did back up my /files9/ folder which I guess is good news?! No matter what I NEED to get a new SD card though correct? I should warn you I know very little and was confident if I followed the guide that I would not run into problems. So since I do have my files9 backed up can I proceed from the "Installing arm9loaderhax" page or is there anything from the previous pages I need to download onto the sd?

Yes get a new sd card and proceed from the last page! Good job on backing up, that will save you a ton of issues.

Can you use the Card on the PC ?
Is it recognized in Diskmgr (type in CMD "diskmgmt")?
You can try the following:
Open CMD as Admin and type in the following except the Things in "":

diskpart
list disk
"here look for your Drive (you can see it on the Size)"
select disk "here your Disk number" "for example 1"
clean
create partition primary

Thats better than buying a new Card ^^
