Hacking SD+Camera=Homebrew

I know that it's possible, though. All i'm trying to do is use my camera as an sd card adapter. It shouldn't be this difficult.

OMG! My gf just suggested buying an SD card reader and I almost kicked her down a flight of stairs. LOL!!!! JK.

But seriously, I just attempted mounting an old non-USB mode digi-cam with both iPhoto and ImageCapture to no avail. I looked for the device with Automator and Terminal as a /volume and nothing. The problem here is a hardware issue. My only suggestion is a different hardware device. Sorry.

But the things is, it's my only option. Isn't there a way you could install a usb driver for the camera or something ?

All I see are image browsers. I'd love to test this out for you, but I don't have this cam.
