ROM sizes will probably be around... 256 MB? 512 MB? Or maybe around 1GB.

I highly doubt 1GB for most games. 1GB will probably be for their big games like Kingdom Hearts. And 512 for casual games like mario kart.

although wii is suppose to be more powerful than gamecube i felt gamecube was more powerful than the wii in terms of graphics.

i hope the new contra game that comes out is going to be 2d looking same if they make a new castlevania with 3d effects of course.not to sure if castlevania was announced as being made

is there any game on the gamecube that looks better than mario galaxy (2)

Uhh... I'm not sure what you're asking, but according to [I forget his name] the touch screen conflicts with the 3D. Only the top screen is a 3D screen.
