yeah i'm just curious about what screen saver you have.
I have A fish screensaver
really where did you get it?
A TWEWY one..
xscreensaver's phosphor + fortune. Prints out random quotes, laws, jokes, bofh ecuses, etc.
I have a CaveStory one but it doesn't work.
It's what I'd like to use though.
Wait people still use screen savers? The last time I used a screen saver was like over 10 years ago.
I like the idea of the topic but nobody seems to be showing their screen savers so I will start. Here you can even download mine. It's the Chrono Trigger countdown timer and it actually tells the time. Enjoy!
ummm how can you count down when its out?
It doesn't count down, when you put it as your screen saver it reads the time on your computer and uses that. So it's basically a fancy chrono trigger clock.
I use the "free fire screensaver".
MInes random out of about 10
i recalled having this star wars screensaver on my 486 in which obi wan kenobi was light saber duelling with darth vader. and as they brogressed across your screen duelling the path created behind them was black. cant for the love of me find where i put that cd.
I think I've got the default ones on all of my PCs I never really see the screen saver because if I'm leaving my desk at home I usually just turn the monitor straight off and if it's a laptop I just close it.
The times I do bother setting a screensaver, it's usually the Johnny Castaway screensaver by Sierra from 93
I don't understand why people would use a screensaver. It's not like you're sitting by the computer watching a screensaver, and if you're not sitting by the computer why not just turn of the monitor?
Burn has not been a worry for some time. Power switches for me.
Failing that if I leave the machine alone there is usually a reason (encoding video or similar) so I like being able to glance up. I have yet to get around to killing the LEDs in the fans on my case so light does not bother me.
I use 3D Maze from Windows 95
