I'm curious if anyone else has tried to use savsender with the retail cart of Zelda. It seems to be an unsupported save type, but I'm not sure. Are there any other programs that can backup/restore saves on a retail cart?

I only use the NDS Backup Wifi 3.1. It's a slot-1 FTP backup program. It's mainly for the ROM, but you can get the savs as well.

Can anyone tell me if this works with Zelda by sending a .sav file to the original cart? It worked for Metroid.

Raw (.sav) -> any other format...

i offen backup my .sav file this way, and it alwaya work for my R4

That isn't an action to backup a save file. That is an action to convert a save file from one format to another.

Backing up a save file means to create a copy of it for safekeeping, which would be to use savreceiver and savsender to copy a save film from the Legend of Zelda - The Phantom Hourglass cartridge to the personal computer. Unfortunately, Zelda save files taken in this manner are cleared when one plays Zelda on their M3 Sakura.

did you notice yet?
this topic has been dead for almost a year, and the person you quoted hasn't been online for over a month.
