I am completely new to modding on the wii and I installed Gecko os on homebrew in order to play my Japanese copy of Super Mario Sunshine. I played for about an hour and saved my game, afterwards I reset my wii to see if it saved and I was shown nothing but a black screen. I saw a thread that said to try it without the Gamecube memory card in my wii, so I took it out and it worked as usual. However, my save information was gone. Now I can load into Gecko os with the memory card still plugged in, but there is no save on it. I'm not sure if this is a wii problem or a gecko os problem, or if I'm just missing something obvious.

Nevermind, it turns out it was because I had save files from multiple regions on my memory card, all I had to do was go to data management and delete it all.
