Is it possible? My friend took my only GCN memory card... I got my Wiikey a couple weeks ago, and just today decided to try out some GCN games on it, but I realized I wouldn't be able to save :\ My local GameStop doesn't have any, and the next closest one is 11 miles away... so is there some sort of hack or something that will allow me to save them onto an SD card?

Nope, sorry, once in gamecube mode there is no access to the new features, such as wiimote, and bluetooth, and sd cards. Well, if I heard correctly...

    Correct, it is literally impossible.

    Not just theoretically or figuratively.

On the other hand, GC memory cards can be accessed in Wii mode. So I believe saves could be backed up to SD using homebrew. They just wouldn't be accessible in-game.

Can an SD Gecko be used to save GCN Games?

Nintendo's own SD adapter for GC was only sold in Japan, and very few games use it.

Don't know anything about SD Gecko.

The sdgecko and the offical nintendo sd adaptor have the same hardware. The only game i know of that can use it is the japanese Animal Crossing.
