Hacking Saved Game Portability

Hello all. I searched through the forums but couldn't find an answer to this question. Today I started a game of Pokemon White using the European ROM. Knowing that the US ROM should be released tomorrow or shortly thereafter, I'd like to know if the save file that's already been created will work with a different ROM. I figure the filename would need to be exact, but I'm not sure if this would work.

So... should I just keep playing on the Euro ROM? Can I rename the save file to match the US ROM? Or should I just start a new game when the US ROM is released? Thanks!

You didn't search hard enough because it's been asked and answered numerous times.

Pokemon HG/SS (J)/(E)/(U) saves work with (J)/(E)/(U) games.
Pokemon Black/White (J) saves are confirmed working with (E) games.
So most likely Black/White (J)/(E)/(U) saves will once again work with (J)/(E)/(U) games.
