so, im getting a DSi next month with an M3i Zero.
currently I have a DSL with an original R4.
so my question is: is it possible to play the save files on my R4 on my-soon-to-be M3i Zero?
or do I need to convert them or something?

thanks for whoever helps

yes, directly played copy paste the .sav file, they use the same file save format so no you don't need to convert
Eh.. WRONG!!! Different flashcarts use different save formats (Most of the time), just go over to the Shuny Savegame Converter and convert your saves. It has nothing to do with DS to DSi, just the flashcart's save format.

thanks a lot, but can you tell me please to what format do I need to convert them?
since there's no an "M3I" option I have no idea what to choose

no you dont need to convert both the r4 and m3i use the same file format, i own both these cards and transfered saves from the r4 to the m3i and they work fine

No, you're wrong, dipshit. Most cards use exactly the same save format, only weirdass backwater cards do anything different with their saves; for the most part they're raw saves plus padding. As long as nothing unexpected is going wrong, most cards' save files should be interchangeable.
