Hacking Save files gateway <--> sky3ds

so i have a n3ds xl v9.0
I have the problem of making decission on which to invest sky3ds or gateway
In the end i ordered both -.-

Both are still in shipping.
My concern is now about save files.
Im not sure whether i should play games on my sky3ds or gateway.
I know theres a problem with save file transfering between these two cart. (Or is there any breakthrough already?)

I dont really mind on which card i use to play games if the save files are transferable. And i dont intend to update sysnand yet patiently hoping that GW will release update which makes life easier.

Can someone help me wih my dilemma on which gamecart should i use as my main
