Hacking Save file backing up problems

Well, just recently, I downloaded Rudolph's WiFi Backup Tool and also successfully connected to my FTP server. But, heres the problem, after backing it up, I end up with a 504kb .sav file. I thought, "this isn't right.. isn't it supposed to be 512 kb?" So I tried on my M3DSS and just as I thought, it didn't work. Any fixes/suggestions for this?

Did you convert the save before putting it on your M3?

Ok, I just woke up and I read what you said. I went to Shuny's Savegame converter but I don't know whats the Source format.. I know the Target though.

EDIT: Ok, I figured it out. It was RAW format. Thanks DeMoN for the fix.
