Hacking .sav files

On my SD I have a bunch of these. Are they actually my saves or can I delete them and still manage save data through sdf? Thanks.

If you restored your save data to the games, you can either backup them to your computer or just remove them, as they are no longer needed

I don't think so, If you already restored them
