after use SafeA9LHInstallerv2.0.1 update
e9 h9 d9 work fine
but gw arm9loaderhax.bin blackscreen
maybe wait for it update

So the SafeA9LHInstaller now tries to get the otp.bin itself if it doesn't exist in /a9lh/? (The guide no longer has that step listed, to copy it there, used to be step 4 IIRC)

do you use screeninit or noscreeninit?

I'm in the same boat as srwgin. I tried both screeninit and noscreeninit and just a black screen with Gateway

Ok so i want to install the new payloads with Safea9installer 2.0.1 because I have compulsory update syndrome and for science...

O-GOOD! I'm not the only one with this syndrome!

Nothing new (yet?). But it's fun to update stuff. ;)

Isn't it though!!

I'm running SysNAND A9LH v11.0.0-33U with Luma3DS v5.5. I probably used the 1.4 or 1.5 version of SafeA9HL (can't recall).

I do not have a a9lh folder any longer, so would someone mind spelling out for me what I need on my SD card to update?

Further confirmation from me. Gateway will need to put a new bin on their website for compatibility, hopefully they will.

On the same firmware and version of luma. Think safea9lh was 1.5.x or something when I did mine. It all seems confusing at the moment, so would like to know what is needed to update correctly to V2 a9lh if that's the way forward for future compatibility.

GW works with Delebiles latest version. Use n3ds81.firm renamed to n3ds90.firm and build from his latest source.

It won't work with Auroras forks.

I have it too. ;) My scripts builds all the latest versions of apps and cfws I use (and don't use) and uploads everything to my O3DS, N3DS and N3DS XL via ftp. I just have to start ftpd v2.2 on each console. ;)

I just installed a9lh last friday. Found there was an update today, so naturally I had to do it just because I could, even though it doesn't seem to provide any present benefits. I honestly just do it because its fun to mess with the 3ds in ways Ninty doesn't want.

My folder looked like this and I just successfully upgraded.
/a9lh
/a9lh/firm0.bin
/a9lh/firm1.bin
/a9lh/otp.bin
/a9lh/payload_stage1.bin
/a9lh/payload_stage2.bin
/a9lh/secret_sector.bin
You need to have your otp.bin that you obtain when you initally installed a9lh, and the other updated files can be found on guide by Plailect. I loaded the arm9loaderhax.bin for the new safea9loaderhax installer (renaming it to right_a9lhinstall.bin)
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-5-(arm9loaderhax)

EDIT: You NEED to update both the installer and the files within a9lh otherwise you risk brick.

So i just need to put the updated files like this:

/a9lh
/a9lh/firm0.bin
/a9lh/firm1.bin
/a9lh/otp.bin
/a9lh/payload_stage1.bin
/a9lh/payload_stage2.bin
/a9lh/secret_sector.bin

and in luma/payloads a right_a9lhinstall.bin from the new safea9loaderhax installer, install the hax and A9LH gonna be updated?
