Thats correct IF using aurora's, it doesn't work with aurora's stage 1 + safeA9LHinstaller.

I strongly suggest not to mix delebile's stage 1/2 installing via safeA9LHinstaller 2.0.0/2.0.1!

If you want to use A9LH v2 and Gateway's arm9loaderhax.bin, please use
delebile's arm9loaderhax with FIRM0 from Firmware 8.1 and his own installer!

Thats the only way to use d0k3's Tools, A9LH v2 and Gateway!

Delebile's arm9loaderhax still looks for new3ds90.firm when building. Should this be new3ds81.firm renamed?

You'd probably be best of getting a hardmod tbh. It's cheaper than a new 3ds and it's more future proof.

After I boot up safea9lh using a9lh
Do I have to uninstall a9lh then do a full install and update or just do a full install?

Don't uninstall if you're on anything over 9.2. You may not be able to install afterwards.

Just install the new payloads, it will overwrite the old ones.

Ok so i want to install the new payloads with Safea9installer 2.0.1 because I have compulsary update syndrome and for science...
I already have a9hl installed from Plailect guide a few weeks ago.
I grabbed the new files from Plailect guide an hour ago.

So in the a9hl folder I have firm0/1.bin , secret_sector.bin and payload_stage1/2.bin
I have to add to this folder the opt.bin from my 3DS. I have two so I will copy it after this is good.
At the root of the SD there will be arm9loaderhax.bin

Here start the questions:
Do I need arm9.bin and/or arm11.bin?
Do I need safea9installer.dat?
Can I use Luma3DS chainloading to load the bin or I shouldn't?

I'm kind of in the same boat. I just did the A9LH install in a few hours two nights ago and it was pretty nifty. Now I want to get the new, "better" stuff. I need to know if it is possible to "downgrade" to v1 if needed, tho, in case loading the Gateway bin doesn't work with it (need to be able to play my legit backups via it).
