That guide does not use SafeA9LHInstaller 2.0 from Aurora for the time being.
If you want to use 2.0 you have to provide the new3ds81.bin as firm0.bin. firm1.bin hasn't changed.

Yes, that was unfortunate. I used the guide when it had the v2-zips linked...

@laharl22, you can find the file you need in Plailect's gúide. The secret sector one. Do not use the firm0.bin from that guide if you want to update a9lh with 2.0

Thats where I got confused I saw those files and then I came back and it was only named like before withtout v2. So I proceeded and that happened to me. Anyways im waiting for a solution from the modders here or I will buy a new 3ds is there a way to recover the saves from the SD card? I have backups but from may. Lol

Yes. It uses the new3ds firmwares for a9lh on both o3ds and n3ds.

And DON't use the payload_stage1.bin or payload_stage2.bin from Plailect's guide if using the 2.x installer!

As I already have A9LH installed I need to use SafeA9LHInstaller V2.0.1 with its corresponding v2.0 payload_stage1 & 2. (That's the normal way)

But Aurora mentions "you'll need the 8.1 New 3DS FIRM named as firm0.bin in the a9lh folder". Where do I find that firm0.bin? As of this moment in Plailect's guide there is a file called data_input_v2 where there is a fimr0.bin file. Is it that one?

Finally before starting SafeA9LHInstaller I should have those 3 files in a folder called /a9lh.

Thats correct IF using aurora's, it doesn't work with aurora's stage 1 + safeA9LHinstaller.

I strongly suggest not to mix delebile's stage 1/2 installing via safeA9LHinstaller 2.0.0/2.0.1!

If you want to use A9LH v2 and Gateway's arm9loaderhax.bin, please use
delebile's arm9loaderhax with FIRM0 from Firmware 8.1 and his own installer!

Thats the only way to use d0k3's Tools, A9LH v2 and Gateway!
