Hardware Safe to use GCN AV cable?

I'm gonna finally take the Wii out of the closet and set it up for Thanks Giving -- a sort of early Christmas present for my kids -- and I'm wondering if it's safe to use our Cube AV cable on the Wii. I ask because we're currently using a splitter-type cable, one that allows us to always leave both our Cube and PS2 plugged in. It would remain convenient if I could use that for our Wii.

It doesn't work with the Wii, not even the same shape plug.

At least, it comes with a Red, white and yellow plug. Dont know what tis called.

So the multi cable that you have now won't work, but I thought I'd let you know about this one:

You won't get it in time for T-Day, but maybe a local electronics store has something like this for you. This is most assuredly cheaper though.

RCA is the audio part of any of the cables for the Wii. It's the same for both Composite or Component (both terms refer to the video only, not the Red/White audio cables).
