Homebrew S8DS help

So i got this running on my R4 and everything works great i can save and open any master system rom and whatnot, but for game gear the folder search just sees no games, all my sega game gear games are in .bin format, is that the right format?

im going insane on why it can see master system roms but not game gear ones.

rename .bin file extension by .gg
