ROM Hack Question (S)NES Online - graphics mod

Hi,

I’m really enjoying these Nintendo official emulators but one thing that really bugs me is the CRT filter. It looks rough compared to pretty much any of the shaders that Retroarch has or the IMO perfect scanlines filter that the pNES/pSNES emulators have. Is there any way to mod the NES and/or SNES Online apps to replace or improve the CRT filter?

(yes I’m aware of the amazingness of Retroarch and like it for other systems but it doesn’t even come close to really highlighting and showing off each game like the aforementioned Nintendo apps do)
