i first found out about it in J.U.M.P. Ultimate Stars .
i see it again as one of my friend's display pictures on facebook.
today i finally decide to see what it was really about .

i watched Episode 1 Dubbed off of Youtube.
that old style,
swords from the past ,
it reminded me of Inuyasha slightly .

i am now reading the manga .
it seems good so far ,
it's a complete series ,
so no need to wait for it weekly,
and i don't plan on watching the anime .
since to me, it has always been anime < manga .

after i finish this ,
i will catch up with my Gintama manga .
comparing today's anime to before's anime,
the difference is great .

Man, Rurouni Kenshin is great!
The manga is far superior than the anime, mainly because it finishes the story, whereas the anime does not.
Keep reading it, you won't be disappointed

There's filipino that never watched one episode of rurouni kenshin (samurai X) ??? Prob didn't grow up in the philippines, then, coz that anime reruns like every 6 months here. Well, anyways, enjoy.

the manga had a conclusive ending (the type i like seeing) as oppose to the anime which was more open (the type of endings i hate)
you wont miss anything by not watching the anime, i actually recommend not watching the anime version of this.... well.... at least not the sequel movie (Rurouni Kenshin: Seisouhen) mainly because it butchers the ending of the manga and ruins the rest of the story.

anyways this is easily one of my favourite manga i've read, really awesome.
