Hacking Running downloaded games without modding 3DS?

Im new to the 2/3DS modding scene. My son has a 2DS with a game we got off ebay which is basically 400+ games all on one card. I am looking at getting a 2DS for myself and was wondering if i could make a cartridge with multiple games on it like that myself?

Looking at guides they all say about modding the 2DS, when i didn't have to do that on my sons 2DS, i just had to put in the cartridge and he was away. So i'm struggling to understand what the difference is between that and the guides im finding online?

Those 400+ games are only DS games. Just go to nds-card.com and pick up something like an R4 that is compatible with a 3ds.

The online guides are to enable you to get a custom firmware which will play 3ds games other things like running emulators.

Depends on your flashcard. Most support it, but the cheapest one might have crappy antennas.
But just go ahead and mod your 3DS/2DS. You won't lose anything.
