Even if it was true, it's not the 3DS's death. You can't play the dumps yet, and if an emulator is ever made, you won't be able to enjoy the full 3D effect.

Funny thing is, his signature says "Do a barrel roll. !!!" which everyone knows where that came from.

Also I hope it's fake as well, I really don't want to see this news both for reasons everyone knows by now and also just look bad the source article looks. Just look at it, it's hard to read and page/web site looks like shit, I want something more respectable looking at least to announce the death of the 3DS.

I dont think a 3DS card has been dumped because the commands you have to send to read the card are encrypted. Heck, even a dumping tool for DSi cards has not been released.

Even if this is real, which I doubt, it's not the death of the 3DS. The DS was never "killed" by piracy. Just slowed or prevented from having better games. It was still, imo, the best console/handheld to date. 3DS is far from death, if this is real.

I wouldn't be proud of that fact. Now that a rom has been dumped people can start working on pirating them and there goes the 3DS. And here I had faith in 3DS living.

Did you think piracy killed the DS?
All that will happen is a cat and mouse game of firmware updates and cracks except we don't have a way to play roms at all yet.
