Rumor: GOW 3 details

Barriers won't be the cure-all for enemy attacks in the next Gears of War, according to the latest round of Edge rumors about the unannounced title. A "US publishing source" has told the Web site that some Locusts will have "tentacle-like appendages" that can reach over cover and tickle Marcus and crew in their meaty spots. The COG funky bunch will also be able to extend their attacks, supposedly, via underground explosives that burrow and erupt behind barriers.

The source's supposed new intel doesn't stop there. Gears of War 3 is also being said to have mech suits and underwater sections. The latter we get. Flooding is a thing in the last game. But the mechs? We'll just have to see. And hopefully we'll get a taste soon if Jimmy Fallon ever gets around to letting Cliff Bleszinksi do his thing on the Late Night show ... if that is indeed what the Epic man is set to debut.

gears of war pretty famous when it originally came out but i think there isnt too much changing though still as good

Gears of War 1 = WIN (until annex came out, then the game pretty much died) - good single player, the way the characters moved felt right and the weapons worked most of the time and teh multiplayer worked also it was good

Gears of War 2 = FAIL (but not acomplete one) - whilst the single player story was quite good I felt the gameplay was abit lacking and since them changing the way the weapons worked, the way the characters move + minor differences to the camera, the game just didn't feel right at all. Thens there's the hell hole that is the multiplayer they changed the match making setup......FAIL it honestly didn't work that well it could take forever to find a single game. Game modes some old ones, some new ones, overall a decent selection. the gameplay well it;'s the same as single player but against other people...it kinda sucked and the weapons

The whole gameplay just didn't work.

Gears of War 3 = undecided (not released yet

) - I hope they don't go down the same path as Gears of War 2 because it honestly SUCKED and this is coming from a Gears of War fan, I loved the first one. the only thing that was holding Gears of War 2 back was the gameplay and the matchmaking as the story and the game modes were great.
