there is this old guy that frequents bars on the main street here, he will do the cube for you really fast if you buy him a beer. One time I remember him racing another guy who was chugging 3 24 oz beers lol. Anyway he can do it in like 1 -2 mins, he showed me the algorithms/technique but i was drunk and never remembered any of it.

I can solve a 3x3. Maybe I'm not the fastest in solving it, but at least I can solve it

With 4x4 theres one parity case I can't solve yet (this one).
Never tried a 5x5.

Oh how much time I have wasted trying to solve a 3*3 Rubik's cube and never gotten anywhere. The closest I've gotten is having one side the right colour. lol.

Are you all geniuses or something?

I have trouble solving a 3x3 rubik's cube.

Maybe you're all just older and smarter than me.

How old are you? i just turned 16 today [Nov 12]. and smart, i don't think i really am... its a matter of memorization after you learn it. find some online tutorials, i personally find sites that can teach you step by step visually are better, but thats just me. My cousin taught me the 3x3, so yeah. GOODLUCK!

BUMP!

I can solve the rubik's cube now. I turned 14 yesterday and I can solve it just under 40 seconds average. I started learning a couple of months ago.

I'm currently trying to learn the Fridrich method to get faster solves but can anybody here do the Zborowski Bruchem (ZB) method?

I used to be able to do them quickly (years ago), now it takes me a while (only the 3x3 ones-the others are new and exciting to me!).

I have a friend who memorises the sides, puts it behind her back, and then solves it. It's a pretty cool trick.

I really want to try a 2x2, because it seems to be the one best suited for my intelligence.

I can easily do 1 layer of a 3x3 cube, but then I don't know how to continue.

It's cheating if you look it up!

I can get 2 layers in, then it all goes a bit wrong after that. I have a friend who can do one in about a minute.
