Any list update this week?

Why is it that the trimming only works when the rom is in the local database. Can you not scan the file and determine the proper size?

Because if the trim size is in the database, then I can specify the trim size for each game. There are some games that have a trimsize of 0, so I can fix that by specifying what it should be. It's much faster than seeking for the trim length.

Hi Hankchill,

First thanks for your great program
I'd like to know if you will fix the database with the problem for the games 1328 to 1334
(problem of boxart and list doesn't the gbatemp release list)

Thanks again

Ok I'll try again . Hank great program keep it up.
I have also had problems with Rominator closeing
without warning while flashing or renameing or refreshing lists.
I did notice at least in my case if you turn off icons in the lists
the random shutdown stops. Hope this helps somone...

The GBAtemp listing is wrong, unfortunately. A game got nuked and they didn't change it. That's why the numbering seems off there.

Ok but what about the wrong boxart for games 1329 and 1330

Again, they aren't the wrong box art -- Those are what the numbers should be.

1328 was a NUKE, and GBAtemp didn't acknowledge that. That is why the numbers seem to be 1 behind for about 10 games, because the nuked game was re-released as proper.

Hey Hankchill

Your program looks great and I would love to use it for organising my roms but unfortunately for me I only have a slot-2 supercard. Are you planning on adding support for *.dsq files at any point?

Probably not -- I don't have a supercard so I don't understand it's format.

I agree on the speed, but can you not have it scan the files if they are not in the database?

Also, have you had a chance to look at the Linux flashing issue?

Thanks for all your work, as always.

Nice to have some more tools for OSX users.

I do have a couple of recommendations however...

-Apply trimming etc to roms without having to flash to card, I prefer to manage my card myself (currently I just point Rominator to a folder on my disk and say it's a flashcard)
-SRAM patching & trimming for GBA games (useful with the popularity of the 3in1 increasing nonstop).. It's a pain to load Parallels for GBATA

-edit-
Nevermind about the first request, I didn't know there was DSClippers.

No worries, thanks anyway for a great piece of software...

I might have to buy a Slot-1 card just to use it!

After I select the games folder rominator lists files nice but still says at title "0 games in db". What should I do to put games into the db?

You obviously didn't download the DS database.

Honestly, what's with all the n00bs joining just to ask a simple question and never come back? Seriously, just email me or use Rominator's Feedback system.

Anyone else having a problem copying 0028 Kirby Canvas Curse into a custom list? It shows up as the correct rom number, but the Name and Icon are showing as the Game below it. It looks fine on the master 'Games' list and shows the correct Kirby box art in the messed up custom list when I click on it. The rom validation utility declared the file valid. Weird.

I've tried deleting the rom and reloading it many times. Tried opening and closing the program.

Might be another bug. I'll take a look into it today and see if I can find anything.
