is there a way to determine if a switch xci has already been trimmed?

By checking size of xci. Default sizes are:
1904/3808/7616/15232/30464 MB
Sometimes there are custom like LA Noire with 15971 MB. But it's very rare.

or check it with xci explorer, if the Rom Size and Used Space matches then it has been trimmed

I read that the extra space is just padding. are there any games that don't work if trimmed? almost all of the rips that I have are untrimmed.

I never heard of game that will not work if trimmed.

thanks, guys. does it matter if I use the xci cutter's bath tool and run it over a folder that contains nsp files and already trimmed roms?
