Hacking ROM Trimmer for Linux

I've just switched to the very reliable ubuntu and i'm wondering if there are any good rom trimmers for linux or rom trimmers that will run in WINE

Excellent work for switching to Ubuntu my friend. Their was a rom trimmer made that is open source and made for Linux. If you give me a minute I will find it for you.

its kind of strange, people use linux when they dont want to use illegal copy of windows, and they want to be legall, but using game "backups" eaven when trimmed on legal linux (when not possesing original game) is illegal. If you use illegal ds games, why to use them on legal operation system ?

This is VERY low down on the list of reasons as to why people use linux. First would probably be that it doesnt suck.

Obviously you have never used a linux system, ever. "Being legal" is the absolute LAST thing I care about when I use my computer.
I'm fed up with viruses and spyware, things you can get under legal or pirated copies of windows, after having updated your five different anti-something programs.

My trimmer used to work in linux with wine but not anymore. Hopefully I'll fix that sometime.. might wanna keep an eye on the main thread

Good stuff, been looking for a trimmer for Ubuntu as I can't get Rominator to run

Just installed XP on a VMWare machine though so maybe it'll work through that (couldn't get it to run right using the Linux version or Windows using WINE).
