Hacking Rom help

I have a question about a type of rom.

I have DLed a few where the files were split into different folders. How do I get these types of roms to play?

1 - Install 7-zip (WinRAR is the native program, but 7-zip is superior).

2 - Open the first file (the .rar or the .r00, or the .r01 if there's no .r00) and extract it's contents. It'll automatically piece it together from the other files.
