ROM Hack ROM Hacking. Please help me! Advanced Trainer.

Hello i have been seeing to make a ROM hack of a pokemon game using advanced map and XSE. But i need to add a trainer to the game. I see people using and recommending Advanced Trainer. Everytime i see an "official" site for it my anti-virus says its a virus. Can someone provide a legit link or is this just a false alarm?? Please help me and thank you for reading.
