ohhh... seems the first user brick with this... so anyway... clarky... u said u put the names of everything and if we didn't know what that did then we shouldn't be doing it... well... i just wonder what the wads are... they are just names wad01, wad02 etc... why don't they have their names... i would know what they are... i've read enough for that...

updating removes all hacks? (preloader, cioscorp, etc..)
the update can be done in the system menu or i need to install the system menu and ios wads manually?

Hey guys,ive been using gamma for quite a while now without any problems.So i saw the new riiskimod and thought i should install it for the channel loading.

Anyway,i completed the installation without any hiccups.Played a quick game of Trauma Centre 2 and thought this is great.

However then i tried to play MK and my wii wouldnt detect the disc.This i found strange because i could play it perfectly previously using gamma.So then i tried loading through gamma and again with no luck.

Now the situation is ive tried 10 backups and only the TC2 disc will work.

My originals are all working properly, its just the backups im having issues with.All the backups worked perfectly when using gamma previous to riiskimod installation.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing these issues?

I just had the same problem, try reinstalling cIOS that just worked for me.

Edit: No it didnt, they have just stopped working again.

Sorry mate cios didnt fix it after all, now some of my originals dont even work, but every game still works fine with my chip.

ok here's the deal with fireeater:

can't access system menu
can't boot HBC
can't boot any DOLs through preloader(ARC,HBC,Preloader installer)

but he still has preloader with no hacks.ini

any ideas or do we have the 1st official riiski-brick

You can't search for "v3", "3.0" or any iterations of that.
