Hello everybody! I am having issues with Dpad Right. When clicked to hard, my entire system shuts down, and depending on the press it can go offline for hours at a time (offline, as in won't turn on). A just-hard-enough click will just shut it down and I can turn it back on immediately.

I suspect a impact to a power wire may be this cause. I's there any way to stop this from happening?

Thank You,
Gavin

Okay, before you decide to disassemble that o3DS, backup all your game saves + extdata with Checkpoint and/or JKSM, and all your games, dlcs, and updates as CIAs with GodMode9.

The o3DS d-pad is part of the motherboard and is not on separate board... Look into cleaning the d-pad rocker piece, rubber pad, and contact area with toothbrush and 91% rubbing alcohol. Use low heat, low fan blow dryer. You may need to check and realign the golden push contact patches if they've shifted.
Edit - The contact patches can be other colors than gold.
