Thank you for your answer. Either way, it is not a big problem.

By the way, is there any chance that the Beetle PC-FX core will be added to the Aroma build?
Is there a reason you would use that Core over the other PC-Engine Cores? from what I understand the other Cores are faster than the Beetle PC-FX one?

EDIT: Actually, Isn't that Core already in the Aroma build?
EDIT2: Ok I see its not there, I've uploaded it below.
Maybe pcsx ReArmed, or WiiStation, could handle ZN-1 board someday ?
Possibly, that sounds like a feature request tho... Looks like someone beat you to it lol

PC-FX is not PC Engine, it's a very different console according to Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC-FX
While PC Engine (aka TurboGrafx-16) (1987) is a 8-bit console with 16-bit graphics, the PC-FX (1994) is 32-bit.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC-FX#Technical_specifications

Also, Beetle PC-FX isn't much faster for emulating PC-FX. There's WiiMednafen for that, but still runs a bit slow, but at least it's a little more faster than the Beetle PC-FX core.
Maybe it would work better with C2W patches enabled? (sign_c2w_patcher)

Thank you very much.
The game started up, but the sound was so distorted that I couldn't play it properly.
Also, when I started up this core, the entire RetroArch menu broke, probably due to missing assets.
Hmmm, speed issues were likely why it wasn't added to the build. heh at least it works (even if slowly)
Not sure what's causing the assets to mess up. Doesn't matter I guess if the Core is unplayable.

Sorry WiiU hasn't got the PoWeR to run this core :P

try using WiiMednafen with sign_c2w_patcher for PC-FX.

A plugin for Aroma can be found here: (thanks to @V10lator ): https://github.com/V10lator/c2w_patcher

Hi I was navigating the thread, and I couldn't find an answer, but is AI service enabled on this Retroarch build? I could not find Service in the Settings or Accessibility, though I have AI Service as a HotKey option. My Retroarch for Aroma is version 1.19

Tried um jammer lammy with this core, only issue is lammy's guitar sounds being static(with out the reverb, it's silent). Idk if it's just me, but it thought I should put it out there.

PC-FX and PC- Engine are two different systems with different games, is like the Game Gear vs the Neo Geo Pocket for example.

Has the audio issue with CHD on the NeoGeoCD core been resolved?
The core downloaded from the latest URL still produces noise in CHD.
Here you go try this version, it should have working CHD Sound.

Is alright, there's NEC PC-Engine, NEC PC-FX, and NEC PC-98, each is different system with a different library, NEC was a very popular computer company in Japan similar to Commodore in the US.
