Yeah, certain parts had slowdown. I'll check again with the new ZIP upload you shared.

Edit: Great, now I'm stuck in an eternal "white Wii U logo" loading sequence when I overwrote the RetroArch files from the new ZIP. Now I have to put EVERYTHING on my SD card again? That sounds tedious to update this way. Is something unstable here? (I had to delete everything just to get it to work. I wonder if this is affecting anyone else here.)
It the salamander.cfg, just delete that file, you should be good then.

Based on your experience will it work across multiple systems: NES/SNES/MD/NEO-GEO or it has to be tweaked for each one separately ? I tried one basic crt-easymode shader for NES and MD and on MD it looked weird o_O.
what cores?
in my experience shaders seem to work on everything except pcsxrearmed idk why...

@ploggy Hi. Can you show me the right way to use your mame2010 core you shared please (folders path). Thanks.
Got this from the Libretro docs :)
https://docs.libretro.com/library/mame_2010/

MAME 2010 requires the following directories exist, and will create them if they are missing:

  • libretro system folder/mame2010/: location for cheat.zip cheats file
  • libretro system folder/mame2010/artwork: MAME bezels and overlay files
  • libretro system folder/mame2010/crosshairs: custom crosshair images
  • libretro system folder/mame2010/fonts: custom fonts
  • libretro system folder/mame2010/samples: audio sample zip files needed by some games
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/cfg: automatically-generated MAME configuration files
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/comment: MAME debugger comment files
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/ctrlr: MAME controller customization files
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/image: game image content
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/ini: MAME.ini files
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/input: Recorded input files
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/memcard: Save folder for emulated memcard device memory
  • libretro saves folder/mame2010/nvram: Save folder for emulated nvram device memory

I have a few questions for the Aroma version.

- Is there a Nintendo 64 core I can download/install that will work with Wii U?

- Is there a Sega Saturn core as well?

- Sometimes when I pick Close Software on the Home menu, I get stuck on an endless loading screen loop and have to force shut down the Wii U. How do I get around this?

Thank you.

Does anybody know how to fix not working yeetron shader? It should work, because it was recompiled for Wii U, but the image doesn’t look right when it’s applied.

Hi @ploggy

I've installed your new build and am getting a crash every time I load more than one ROM in one session. The first game launches fine, but if I then try another, it crashes on the white Wii U splash screen. Any idea why this could be?

Generally its best to start fresh if your updating from an older version, that means dont overwrite any files and delete your old retroarch folder to be sure, you should of course backup your save files and states first. If this is a clean install then try deleting your retroarch.cfg/salamander.cfg that tends to fix white screen issues.
